Fuglen first emerged as a coffee shop in 1963 (back then under the name Kaffefuglen). Ever since then, high-quality coffee and tea have been an essential part of our brand and business. When the bar was renovated and reopened as Fuglen in 2012, it was important for us to preserve the original Kaffefuglen. Therefore, the bar and the wallpaper itself are original from 1963, while everything else is either vintage mid-century pieces or specially handmade with the same materials and remodelled after the mid-century design era. The original Fuglen still serves as a blueprint when we open flagship bars in new cities.

Come by Fuglen Oslo Sentrum to enjoy a cup of light roasted Fuglen coffee from 07:00 in the morning, or bring your friends for an afternoon drink. At night Fuglen transforms into a classic cocktail bar with bartenders mixing traditional and innovative cocktails from fresh, local ingredients. You can also enjoy bottled beer or wine from our seasonal wine list.

BOOKING

Contact us if you’re interested in booking a room or a table. Table reservations are free and last for one hour, but is only available in the weekdays. Tables are available for booking from 18:00. For booking a table at our Oslo Sentrum coffee bar please contact oslosentrum@fuglen.no.
