FUGLEN COFFEE ROASTERS OSLO IS BACK OPEN AFTER RENOVATIONS

Fuglen Coffee Roasters Oslo is back! After a full week of hard work, we are back in our newly freshened up space There have been a lot of questions around what renovations we did, so we wanted to share a bit more about what's new (its all about the details!).

New Flooring - This was the biggest part of the renovations. We sanded down the floors to reveal the beautiful pebble rock beneath, after which we added a new and improved seal to help protect the floors.

New Roasting Layout - We also moved a few things around behind the counter to allow for more space and improved workflow in our production zone. This space is really opened up now and showcases our roasting much better! It also makes life a lot easier for accessing and weighing up green coffee to be roasted.

Touch-ups - There were many small details around the coffee bar that needed a bit of love. Things like touching up the paint on the walls, sanding and oiling the base boards in the windows, adding a new seal to the counters and bar tables, updating our light fixtures etc. The list goes on and on!

New Storage Solutions - As we have grown, the need for better storage has also grown. To help accommodate that, we moved our old office shelf into the back bar area, doubling the amount of shelf space as well as clean counter space for prepping food and sorting dishes.

Deep Cleaning - In the end, the renovations allowed to give a deep clean of our roastery and coffee bar. No dust could hide from us! Not only did we scrub down every nook and cranny, but we also cleared out a lot of clutter that had built up over the years.
