Around 1960, Afdal’s furniture design took on a more architectural style, exemplified by armchair Broadway and hunting chair Hunter, two of his artistic highlights from the period. Considered among Afdal’s classics are Krobo, a multi-purpose bench, Times liquor cabinet and Minerva range of conference furniture. Afdal also functioned as Artistic Director of Bruksbo furniture workshop at Plus in Fredrikstad.
