ARNE LINDAAS' STUDIO SAFEGUARDED AFTER AUCTION SUCCESS

Norwegian Icons curated and delivered a special feature sales exhibition on Norwegian mid century craftsman Arne Lindaas. Nine of his sculptures where sold at the Wrights Scandinavian auction in Chicago, some attaining prices highly above the estimated prices. Following this highly successful exhibition, interest and appreciation for Arne Lindaas sparked. Not long after, his hometown, Rømskog, decided to buy old Sandem school, which used to be Arne Lindaas studio and gallery - to ensure that the cultural heritage was safeguarded for the future and preventing it from being sold on the open market.
